DME light is a light coloured spray malt (3.1 lovibond) that comes in powdered form. This can be easily dissolved into hot water to make wort. Combined with other steeped specialty grain will make a great beer easily in 1 pot. This is a high quality spray malt packaged at our shop. Most modern beers are made with high percentages of a base malts, this can be used as a direct substitute.
Light DME is extremely versatile for brewers and can be used to adjust wort gravity, make easy yeast starters, to bottle beer, to add directly to the boil kettle or to make a super simple beer with no fuss. It is highly fermentable and contains all proper nutrients for a healthy yeast fermentation.
